The FTC requires anyone who is compensated in any manner for their endorsement of a product to provide full disclosure of their affiliation. Ethically, it's just the right thing to do. Even though I am not compensated in any manner by authors, publishers, artists, studios or any other entities for my reviews I wanted to let my readers know that If any free materials are obtained for a review (such as an ARC copy of the author's work, free screening tickets, etc.) it will be clearly noted. Most reviews, however, will be based upon books, movies or other items that I have purchased after they were released to the public and ALL reviews will be as impartial as possible.
